We will continue to update this page to make sure you stay prepared as the seasons change. Currently, we are offering our tips on the best fall fashion ideas for baseball fans.

Fall Classic Styles

Now that we’re down to just a few teams remaining in the MLB Playoffs, it’s time to reassess your ballpark wardrobe. The script has switched. It’s no longer about staying cool but rather staying warm. And for those looking to go above and beyond, our friends over at Routine have some threads that can keep you warm while still looking cool. To help you out, we’ve compiled a list of their top fall baseball clothes.

Know the Weather

The first tip for dressing appropriately for fall baseball is to check the weather forecast ahead of time. Autumn weather can fluctuate at the drop of a hat, especially after the sun sets. Bring extra clothes like jackets, gloves, and hats. You can always add layers, just as long as you bring them.

Grab a Sweatshirt or Hoodie

Hoodies and sweatshirts are classic looks for fall baseball fans. They offer designs that allow you to still flex your sense of style while the warm, thicker materials will keep you comfortable throughout all nine innings. Shop Hoodies & Sweatshirts

Jeans Work with Everything

We’re all guilty of overthinking our outfits from time to time. Jeans, however, offer a simple solution. You can grab a pair of jeans to match any shirt, sweater, or jacket in your closet.Their denim materials help trap heat, while the variety of cuts, colors, and styles give you the freedom to blend any outfit you choose. It’s as though they were created specifically for fall weather.

Don’t Underestimate Headwear

As you likely know, most of your body’s heat is lost through your head. Grab a ball cap or beanie on your way out the door to stay warm while you sit in the stands. After all, you can never go wrong with a baseball hat at a ballgame. And while beanies have always been comfortable, recently, they’ve become more and more trendy as well. Shop Baseball Hats

Layer-Up

The colder the weather, the more layers you should add. Fall layers allow you to stay warm while still showing a bit of your personality. Layer solid colors together to create a clean yet confident look for the game. A great example of this would be adding a vest over the top of a long-sleeved shirt. Ultimately, the key is to have fun with it. If you can create an outfit you feel confident in, people will notice.

Sweatpants & Joggers

If it’s a casual outing to the ballpark, just grab your most comfortable pants and live it up. Both sweatpants and joggers are totally acceptable baseball fan attire. Joggers and leggings are becoming increasingly more popular, and sweatpants will always have a place in baseball culture. If it’s a date night though, let’s maybe grab the jeans instead, deal? Don’t Forget Your Blankets

There is nothing quite like sitting on metal bleachers for two straight hours with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Apart from the general discomfort, the cold metal will send chills throughout your body. Simply grabbing a few blankets on your way out the door can go a long way. Sit on one of the blankets, under another, and enjoy the game in pure fall bliss.
