After several years of tremendous success in Little Leagues across the nation, Anderson has returned with a new and improved version of the Anderson TechZilla ZP Youth baseball bat. The TechZilla XP features a brand new Groove Optimized System which utilizes an extremely high-strength groove that runs the circumference of the bat, locking the shell, sleeve and cap into place therein decreasing vibration among the parts and creating a much stronger point for the barrel to flex from and in turn snap back into place much faster than ever before. The TechZilla XP also features the brand new Bullet Proof Cap which is stronger and sturdier than ever before allowing barrel flex wider (bigger sweet spot) and deeper (more performance). TechZilla XP uses the leading edge Dynamic Energy Enhancement Package of technology. Starting from the solid, weld-less ergonomic knob, 'Zilla eats up fastballs with bat speed generated from an ultra thin whip handle. Taper Flex Technology ensures your swing does not sting or bite back. The patented Power Arch Technology along the durable internal multi-wall sleeve is where DEEP technology translates into monstrous shots. Pros: awesome bat soooo much pop i hit 16 of my 17 hrs with it, 6 in the last 6 games (one was like 250 or 250 thanks to the pop) only got out 3 times in the allstar tournament this is the bat for you

Pros: Bought this for my 11 year old after going through three Stealth Bats (Cracked) Has great pop, a little heavy at first becasue of weight distribution. Once he got used to it, hit everything hard.

Cons: Dents easy. Used bat for a month. Bat was DQ'd before first All Star Tourney. Anderson replaced in 2 working days no questions!

Pros: My 12 yr. old son just got this bat and the first pitch that he faced in a game using this bat he launced over the center field fence. This was his first over-the-fence HR ever. He has been using a Catalyst X-1 most of the year and has been hitting well, but nothing like this distance. Better yet, bases were loaded at the time!

Cons: He did dent it where the handle and the barrel meet doing BP within 2 days, but this is supposedly normal.

Pros: I'm a lefty lead off batter. I'm not very big but have fast hands with good bat speed. I've used this bat for two years now and recently won the HR title for our LL. The ball comes off with fierce speed. The huge sweet spot gives you confidence to swing with harder. Moving to juniors next year, I'm hoping to the big league version is just a effective!

Cons: Weak, weak pop...had my son using this for half a season...couldn't understand why he wasn't hitting for more power as he is a very strong hitter...he borowed a friends Combat B2 and launched four straight out of the park. Same kid, same swing, same pitcher, just a different bat. Bought a Combat B2 at Costco for $149.99 at Costco the next day. See ya' Anderson.

Pros: Our opponents used this bat against us in the State tournament. I still have nightmares when I hear the sound of the ball when it hits the sweet spot, it is unmistakeable. I have the secret weapon now!

Pros: Great pop! The sweet spot seems to be bigger than on other bats (even more expensive ones). Added at least 10% to my 11 year-old's hitting distance on flyballs. Line drives just plain sizzle off of this bat. We have not experienced the dent problems mentioned by others, but have been religious about only using this bat above 60 degrees F.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.
