How does this bat compare to the 2018 Easton Beast X -5 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL18BX58. I realize 1 is a drop 10 and one a drop 5, meaning the drop 5 is heavier, but as a coach, I've always struggled with players using bats that are too heavy. My son is turning 13 this month and has swung a 21 oz bat the last 2 years but wants the drop 5 beast (31/26), is the power that much better with the 31/26 and will it slow his bat speed down too much?
