Pros: Huge sweet spot. Ball really jumps off bat. Really like it!
Cons: Yellow "E" fell off sometime first week. Late in season end cap came off during bp and nearly hit coach throwing bp. Glued it back on. So far so good.

Cons: none
J Stumper
Pros: Hits Very Hard & Far
Cons: None
Gabe
Pros: Swing feels better and is faster then the CF5. When looking at the marks on the sweet spot of the bat, you can see how much the ball/bat compresses and makes contact. This is an excellent bat for line drives. Hit 7 line drive homers in practice. This bat and old Omen have same patents covering design, but this bat makes a crack compared to the thud of the Omen.
Cons: Made in Tiawan, for $200 I would expect it to be made in USA!
Anonymous
Pros: cool bat cool disgn and has so much pop my my son hit a home run
Cons:
Ethan
Pros: Soooooo much pop barely swing hits it out of the infield, no sting and the rubber e never fell off, quick breakin period

James
Pros: Everything on this bat is good! I just hit a homerun yesterday on 4th of July for District 64 all stars in California. Great pop of the bat and very balanced for a light weight swing.
Cons: Chips a little on the yellow at the end cap.
joey
Pros: very good and very light i recomend this to other people
Cons:
John
Pros: Seen the allstar team we were playing only use this bat. That team hit 17 home runs in 4 games. I knew one of the fathers on the other team he let my son try it bingo found a winner
Cons: Did'nt have one for the season
NICK
Pros: hit four homeruns in five games with this bat. big sweetspot, is very light, and has great pop. if you want to improve your skill at baseball get this bat.
Cons: no negative comments about this bat at all.get the s1 as your next bat.
best ever!!!
Pros: works pefectly
Cons:
cla all star
Pros: lots of pop and very balanced the grip is very comfortable
Cons: stings a little and it does nit have the ping i would like
Nate
Pros: Great bat. It's balance feels just right. My friend hit a home run in practice with this bat and everyone else who uses it(like me) hit it to the fence.
Cons: Really.... There shouldn't be a con section for this bat
k
Pros: great bat if the rubber e coms off so what just keep on using it nothing will happen
Cons:
no issues
Pros: out of all the bats my 9 yr old has used, he has hit the best with this type of bat. He has been using a 30in 18 oz, same kind of bat. i bought this bat to break in for next year.
Cons: a little heavy for my 9 year old but will be good for him next year.
Lefty
Pros: This bat is...... SWAG! I love this bat. It has a lot of pop, not much sting, cool grip while it lasts, extremely light, and insanely balanced. I have two home runs with it so far.
Cons: The grip gets slippery after a while and the "E" on the end cap popped of after a week, but does not affect the performance. Also a little pricy.
robert
Pros: seems to be a good bat,but my son likes his new tpx omaha drop 13 better
Cons: price was high, son prefers less expensive tpx
easton549045
Pros: good pop, balanced, cool graphics, massive sweet spot, hit 6 home runs in LL this year, good grip
Cons: yellow part of grip gets dirty but its looks cool
Anonymous
Pros: It's the best bat ever. Who cares about the E sticker. It still works. I hit a triple the first day.
Cons: It rattles. But if it happens don't use it for a few days and it will stop. It's not bad but will distract the batter. If you don't use it for a few days. Get a replacement. Not worth $250
c Dawg
Pros: sweet grip
Cons:
jerry
Pros: great bat. my son used it in his little league game. he was blasting the ball. great bat and very light.
Cons: none for me
schultzy1001
Pros: Great bat good for youth!
Cons:
kc
Pros: Love the bat so far my son made machine pitch all stars for dixie league he hated every bat he picked up until he got on all stars he was using a tee ball bat that was the only one he did like and hit them in the outfield with that... now with the easton they hit the fence :-) and he loves it!!!
Cons: everyone on the team wants to use it (lol)
odog
Pros: great pop. nice look. amazing results
Cons: grip rough on the hands
Jon
Pros: Low MOI. Great for 12U.
Cons: No $220 bat should have ANYTHING falling off it, whether it affects the performance of the bat or not. Those of you who blithely dismiss the rubber "E" end-label falling off because it does not affect the bat's performance would be crying to your mommies if the "EASTON" letters fell off the bat - and those letters don't affect the performance of the bat either!
boombangboom
Pros: its an awesome bat. it has great pop
Cons: nothang
CoachScott01886
Pros: Nice balance, good grip, nice graphics
Cons: Did hmwrkm -Bought 2 months ago - still no pop and my son uses it all the time. Also if hit near end - very bad stinger! Also have three other coaches with the same experience with their sons. We are hoping it is just a break-in thing and are spending many hours hitting balls off tee, soft pitch, and regular hitting practice... yes we turn 1/4 turn after each hit, started out easy and working to hit harder... etc... here's hoping!
AJ
Pros: This bat is great! My son who is 11 hits about two times harder with this bat over a cat 5.
Cons: The end cap has not fallen off yet. After about a whole season of community baseball. And a travel baseball tournament.
caution
Pros: i love it.it has great pop
Cons:
Cam
Pros: My son was so excited to get his new bat. We had to go to BP and work it in before his 1st playoff game. He hit his 1st homerun and every other kid that was strong enough to use it wanted to try it out. The next 2 kids hit doubles. Great bat!!
Cons: It did chip the 1st day. Must've been when it was put in the metal bat holder in the dugout. He was bummed but no big deal.
heat
Pros: Good bat, nice pop. Getting more as its breaking in.
Cons:
blur3
Pros: I got this bat for the little league season. I had never hit a home run before. one of my first games i hit 2 home runs in one game. I have 4 home runs in 11 games. Great all around bat.

Pros: this bat is amazing.it feels great off the bat and has a lot of pop.my first game with it i went 3 for 3 with 2 homeruns and a single on a 200 foot fence.
Cons: nothing so far
Vance1324
Pros: Nice well balanced bat not top heavy and hitting the ball solid
Cons: I think there might be a crack but very small and almost hit 3 homers but they keep hitting the top of the fence
baseballsawesome
Pros: extremly light has more pop than any other bat. first game with it my 12 year old son hit a grand slam and 3 off the wall on a 250ft field and hes normally not a power hitter.
Cons: none really
Anonymous
Pros: Love the bat got yesterday took it out today and hit a mega HR
Cons:
Ike
Pros: This thing is the bomb! So much so I hit 3 HR bombs with it! I am 12 and am hitting .700 ever since I have got this bat. Really great pop, hardly any sting, and super balanced.
Cons: Like others have said the "E" sticker on the top came off with first use so I just stuck it on my helmet (It's stayed on all season)... no biggy.
The Beast
Pros: This bat is awesome my friend and i hit about 15 homeruns together. AMAZING BAT!
Cons: There is little bumps in the barrel and the paint is chipping.
shooter
Pros: great bat
Cons: im already hitting twice as far
viber
Pros: amzing bat hit 3 homeruns in the first game i got it.
Cons: iI had trouble geting used to it.
Kansas Baseball guy
Pros: This bat has tons of pop and even our big hitters who use 31/32 were were using this, the sweet spot is longer than the bat, the worst hitter on out team hit a homer with this bat (even though he's still pretty good)
Cons: Like many Easton bats, the CXN cracked on the first inside pitch.
mike24
Pros: just got this bat 4 weeks ago. It is great so much pop and so light. I have hit 2 home runs with it so far.
Cons: none, just hope the league dosent make this one illegal
Southside
Pros: Bought this bat for my boys last weekend. We took some BP to break it in before they used it for this weeks games. I even hit a few balls with it and wished I had this bat when I was a kid. My 8 yr old went 3 for 3 with two doubles and my 10 yr old went 3 for 4 with a double, a triple, and a HR. All three hit were bombs! This bat has extremely good pop. Half the team wanted to use it.
Cons: A little pricy for little league but can't put a price on the results!
notaneastonfan
Pros: Not much of an Easton fan, and I keep looking for a reason to not like this bat. However, after watching my son struggle with another bat for the first part of his season, we switched him to this bat. Since then, he has gone 7 for 8 with only one strike out. I'm not overly impressed with it, but he can sure put this bat on the ball. It doesn't go as far as hit other bat, but what good is the extra distance if you can't hit it during a game?
Cons: I could name several, but they would all be in my mind rather than reality.
J Tip
Pros: J Tip again with an update. Two games with this bat..one homerun, one single and two triples. My son has gone 4 for 5 in two games with this bat. He says he still likes it.
Cons: None, E still intact!
U11 dad
Pros: Seems flat, no pop off this bat
Cons: Seems flat, no pop off this bat
bob
Pros: bad
Cons: see above
J Tip
Pros: Awesome bat! It looks good and sounds solid when my son hits with it. Great pop as well. He just got the bat yesterday. He had his first at bat with it tonight, he hit a two run homerun to right-center field. We ordered this bat since he cracked his 2011 Nike Aero CX2 in the cage on Monday. So far, he says he likes this bat better.
Cons: None so far. As for all of the other people complaining about the E coming off...His is still intact after the break-in process and one game with a shot over the fence.
cj
Pros: great pop i just got it today and i hit a triple, double and a single i love it!!!!!
Cons: none great bat
twinkle toes
Pros: great bat, tremendous pop for a light bat. better compared to the omen.
Cons: the end cap broke off but that's no big deal. also it paint chips easily but that's no big deal too.
The Man (Bau5 hitter)
Pros: This bat is great right out of the wrapper. I just got it today and i have been hitting off the tee for about three hours breaking this monster in and i loved it. great pop. nice weight (31/19). overall great bat. pick one up
Cons: Everyone is complaining about the rubber piece falling off. cmon really
NC Heat
Pros: Good pop. Son hit his first Bomb in second game he used bat. Along with several doubles. So far So good
Cons:
bob
Pros: awsome bat great pop
Cons: breaks easily got it it cracked in half then i got the warranty and it started rattling after 3 days
gfgf
Pros: worst bat i have ever used
Cons: no pop
homer hitter
Pros: awesome bat looks good feels good great pop very light
Cons: yellow cap fell but who cares hits the same but make sure to break it in right
TMac3
Pros: Nice looking bat but that is about it.
Cons: This bat has been an expensive disappointment, have not seen the "pop" others have spoken of,very dull sound when contact is made with the ball.My son has one of these and a Combat B4 and the B4 blows it away. (Both are 31' - 12 )
t money
Pros: this bat has a huge sweet spot and has a bunch of pop very light great hitting of the tee line drives (have not used in live pitching).
Cons: The bat schraches easily
brento
Pros: best bat i ever swung
Cons: nothing
Ivey
Pros: Nice bat and it swings light! Does not sting too much. Great for contact hitters! Would make a great bat for younger kids 11 and under. My son had the 31/18.
Cons: With the bat being light it does not have a lot of pop, but it is not designed for power hitters anyway. Ping is very loud when hit on the sweet spot but it's only an issue when taking BP indoors.
Rose4HOF
Pros: This bat is amazing and worth every penny. I have purchased my share of high end bats and rarely feel this way. The bat is perfectly balanced and great for any size youth large or small. Its loaded with amazing pop and power. The balls leaves the huge sweet spot like a rocket. The bats looks awesome and demands attention. Want to hit rockets that make infielders duck? How about a few shots over the fence? This is the bat!
Cons: Like a couple reviewers noted, the "E" sticker on the end of the barrel came off when hitting a monster home run. Ummmmm....its a tiny little sticker the size of a dime....who cares??
jakson
Pros: it is one of the best bats and it has a lot of pop....... get it
Cons: none
the man
Pros: great bat hit 2 homers in first practice and liners off of the walll................worth every penny!!!!
Cons: none
Worst bat
Pros: its a bat
Cons: This bat has no ting in it. I used it in a tournament and hit it in the sweet spot and was a dead ball straight to third!!!!!! Do not buy this bat. I am a very good hitter I have hit a lot of home-runs but no luck with this bat.
Ruben
Pros: The Carbon Nanotube Technology (CNT) feels GREAT when you hit it on the barrel. Lots of pop and no sting.
Cons: Doesn't go very far when you accidentally hit the ball with junction of the bat (the part between the handle and the CXN that connects both parts of the bat), but I guess it's not supposed to.
John D
Pros: Very sharpe looking with a different sound than most bats! It rocks when my 8yr old hits that sweet spot! Driving the ball about 180 in coach pitch!
Cons: End cap came off after about 25 pitches. Put it back on with a little glue and hasn't fell off since!
Daddeh
Pros: My son uses the 31/19 S1. He has nothing but great things to say about this bat. He said the S1 feels lighter than the old Omen, great balance and great pop. My son just made 11 and is a contact hitter. Would recommend to any one
Cons: none
mhrbb
Pros: Great bat great pop and extremly well balanced
Cons: none
chris
Pros: worst bat ever it has terrible pop and my grip is ripped.I bought this bat instead of the omen and that was the worst decision of my life
Cons:
Anonymous
Pros: AWESOME BAT THE RUBBER LABEL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THE BAT, MY KID HITS BOOMS WITHOUT THE RUBBER LABEL.
Cons:
cman
Pros: its got great pop cant wait till its fully broken in
Cons: the e fell of but it doesnt make a difference in pop
coach*p
Pros: Just ordered 32/20 for my 12yr old son & he just used it in a scrimmage for the first time & "WOW" this bat has awesome "pop". Better than his 31/19 Omen & right out of the wrapper can't wait to see it fully broken in. 100% worth the cost.
Cons: None
Vin
Pros: I bought this bat for my 9 year old son. He loves it. He never owned a composite bat it has plenty of pop and the weight is balanced perfect. He was able to move up from a 28"-16oz to a 30"-18oz with no bat drag very happy with the purchase.
Cons: A little sting outside of the sweet spot but nothing worth complaining about.
beth
Pros: This is a great bat. I would recommend this bat to anyone. It has great pop. My son said that this is the best bat ever. He had the combat B1 and he loved it but he cannot use it anymore. I am so glad that we found this bat.
Cons: The only con I have is the E on the end cap was not on their when we got the bat. but that is not a big deal as long as it hits good.
t john
Pros: Light to swing . Working indoor right now. Ball seems to jump off the bat good.
Cons: None
hitter 101
Pros: My son used last years -10 Omen as a ten year old and hit 2 home runs. He swings through the ball so much harder with this bat it is scary to pitch to him amazing pop. Worth every penny!!!!
Cons:
rj
Pros: very good bat. love it. very light.
Cons: like 'JOn' the yellow 'e' cap came flying off the first couple of swings. for the price easton should make sure things dont come flying off.
Jon
Pros: This is Jon again. I posted above that the bat is great but the round, black, end-cap label with a yellow "E" came off the bat the first day. Well, I got a replacement bat and the same thing happened to the second bat: the round, black, end-cap label with a yellow "E" came off the bat the first few days. I tried gluing it on, and it came off anyway after a week or so. I can't believe Easton would put such poor design into a $250 bat. $250 and labels come flying off the bat? Wow. Maybe I'll try made-in-America DeMarini next.
Cons: See above.
krebs23
Pros: GREAT BAT! Well balanced, and the ball jumps off the bat before its even completely broken in...and after its broken in...even better! They say it takes around 150-200 swings to break this bat in, but that wasnt the case for my 9 year old son. Hes only taken around 100 swings with it, and its definately well broken in! I would say its a small step ahead of the Omen, as far as pop.
Cons: It gets scuffed up fairly easy...but what bat doesnt?
coolkid555
Pros: this bat has a ton of pop. right out of the box the ball was jumping off the bat.
Cons: none
Laxman
Pros: Great pop. Easy to swing . Nice balance.
Cons: None so far
Jon
Pros: Beautiful bat. Arrived in perfect condition (not always the case when you order online). I was a little concerned as Easton - unlike in years past when it gave us the specific MOI of its bats - does not tell us the specific MOI of this bat. However I can assure you it has a low MOI, lower than the Omen in my opinion, making for great swing speed and pop.
Cons: The round rubber label with the letter "E" on the end-cap (you can see it in the pictures above) popped off the first day my son used it. We are exchanging for a new bat.
Ackie
Pros: Great balance. Nice pop. Perfect for my 8 yr old 28/16oz
Cons: Every kid on the team wants to use it!!!!!
Thomas M
Pros: Great pop, easy to swing, very large sweet spot and it is just as good if not better the the omen. It is still good for power hitters because it is stiffer then your typical two piece but it will have some flex for contact hitters. Also it is the same as the omen just different paint job. Overall AWESOME BAT!!!! Please by it you will not regret it.
Cons: I screwed up the break in process so I will have to exchange it. Here is a tip: Do Not use those yellow softer balls they use in the cage it can damage the composite and if you want to break the bat in evenly do 100-150 soft tosses and turn the barrel one fourth every pitch if you want it to break in right.
PL
Pros: This bat is at the top of its class. Very simple yet cool look and has the pop to back up the price tag. Grip is phenomenal and the bat seems to be sturdy and solidly made. My son is hitting very well with this bat. Great investment.
Cons: I can't think of one.
Ruben
Pros: No sting at all when miss hit. CNT makes the ball fly through the air even when you do not hit the sweet spot.
Cons:
rudedud
Pros: bat is light, easy to swing. hits great. ball comes off hard. grip feels good. love the sound. much better then the omen. had them both. sold the omen. i also use the cf4 gold. they both hit about the same. but S1 does make your swing speed way fast. great bat
Cons: the only thing is that this bat has some flex to it when you hit a ball. i was hoping the it was more stiffer like the cf4. i use the cf4 all last year. i like the S1 better even though it has to much flex for me. u12 baseball club player
Banchi
Pros: 32/20 hits like a 22 feels like a 19 due to Easton placing a weight inside closer to the handle - same weight faster bat speed - head movement is great - when stepping up to major you need the speed - not so much the weight - F=MA
Cons:
Thomas M
Pros: This bat is awesome! It feels very light weight, has tons of pop and I think it is better then the cf5, b4, and b3gear retro. IT IS THE BEST BAT!!!!
Cons: NOTHING.
zack (crusher baseball )
Pros: bat feels and looks great. only hit it in the cage. ball feels to jump off bat. love the sound.i use the cf4 right now. this bat feel better and my bat speed is much more faster. i have a game on sunday, cant wait to try it out live.
Cons: it stings when i miss hit on end of bat. cf4 did not do that. but when you hit it right, it feels good.

Having a hard time choosing between the S1 and Xl1. My son is 10 and has very quick bat speed with his his Demarini Voodoo 30/17. My son is currently playing tee ball and is moving up to coach pitch in a month. Can he use this bat for both? I know a $200 bat is a little excess for a 6 year old, but he like baseball and swings pretty well. With that side will this bat give him more pop of the tee, and off a coach pitch? I'm willing to spend the money, if hitting the ball farther helps him build more confidence. Aloha State
In regards to my first question, our little league in Hawaii does not allow for a bigger barrel or coach pitch bat. All bats have to be in the 2-1/4" variety. He also is currently swinging a 27" -14 combat d2 tee ball bat, and has good control over the length. Are there any other suggestions you could make? I'm looking for something that he can take up to coach pitch. His d2 has seen better days, and I didn't want to buy him another tee ball bat with only a few games left. Also he is 47" tall and weighs about 51 pounds. Thanks Aloha State

My son just turned 9. He is 54 inches tall, and weighs 72 pounds. He"s a contact hitter, and the 29/19 Easton Synergy LZN2 he currently uses seems to be slightly too heavy for him, so we"re looking for a 30in -12 or -13. In the -13s, the Demarini Voodoo is top of the heap for us. We"re also considering the Easton S1 in a -12. I have two questions: (1) because the S1 has a low MOI and the Voodoo is slightly end-loaded will an S1 30/18 have a comparable swing weight to a Voodoo 30/17? (2) How does the S1 compare to the LSS6XL and LZN2 in terms of MOI and performance? will

My son is 8, 4'4" and about 80 lbs. He has good bat speed, but is mostly a gap to gap line drive hitter. He is currently using a 2010 28' DeMarini Voodoo. I am considering a 29' Easton S1: YB11S1 for him because I"ve read that it is a well balance bat, which would be suitable for a contact line drive hitter. Is that correct, and/or is there another bat we should consider? Somebody also told be the DeMarini CF5 would be another good option. Any advice? Ryan

My son's swing speed is average. He's 10, and is 4'11, and weighs 73 lbs. After reading up on bats, I found that the Speed Series from Easton might help a kid with average swing speed. Is this true, or would you recommend a different bat, like the CF5 from DeMarini? Also, would you recommend aluminum or composite - we live in a colder weather climate where temps stay below 60 until we get to June. Thanks! Todd
