Pros: I love this light weight bat. It's an amazing bat. All the women on my team use it, including some of them on the co-ed team.
Cons:
Big A
Pros: This bat is hot. Was told that the barrel was stiff out of the wrapper but hit one to the warning track on the first pitch this bat hit. I have hit a lot of bats over the years and this one is a must have. Once this thing opens up it will be incredible.
Cons: None
Questions and Answers
Have a question about the Easton Synergy Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SCX2? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.
I am having some difficulty selecting a bat. I am normally a line drive hitter but can swing for the fences and have often just come upa little short...and figure the right bat can help for when i want to go yard. I have it limited down to the Synergy, Salvo, Denny Crane, Limited edition Freak, mayhem and Craze extreme. It seems maybe the slightly end loaded bats may be better for me as i have gone to a couple local stores trying to at least feel the difference between end loaded and balanced. I have bought several bats off your website for my sone and baseball and was wondering if someone could talk me through my final decision? My league is USSSA sanctioned so the bat does not need to be ASA approved...do ASA bats have less pop? Rob Rothrock
Will this bat still be legal for USSSA next year? The specs say it is BPF 1.20. five4fisticuffs
This is my favorite bat! And my team loves it too. Sad to hear it won't be legal next year. Was actually in the market for a new bat. Do you have a great alternatives to this one? That is USSSA and ASA approved since I play in different leagues? Laura
Does this bat need to be broken in? Or is it game ready out of the package? Thanks! TVN
Heard this bat is ASA approved for 2012. Is that true? Neat
Is this bat NSA approved? i believe it has to say NSA approved on bat JZ
Is there another Synergy that looks the same with yellow around synergy thats is ASA approved? I see a couple of teams using a bat that looks just like it. Transcend
Does Easton make a current bat that may be similar to this? I have two of the SCX2 and after four years of use they are starting to wear out. FancyEd
