Cons: The bat takes a long time to completely break it in. Out of the wrapper its pretty good.
Beardog
Pros: I bought the 31 minus 10 for my 8 yr old. It took a couple of practices for him to get use to end loaded bat. He now consistently hit it to the fence
Cons: Is a little heavy for small players
Anonymous

Cons:
Robin
Pros: Great look. Very good distance for kids that can handle the weight.
Cons: Feels heavier than actual weight due to the mass in the barrel.
Cannon
Pros: Ive only had this bat for about a month and i have already hit 5 home runs and i am only 12. It has a massive sweet spot and has no shock

Pros: Really good has an amazing pop and every time you hit the ball it goes flying.
Cons: When you hit it and it hits near the handle your hand could break. It happened to my son.
TLhitter
Pros: Very nice grip. Love the pop and it feels good all around.
Cons: Waste of money because the only difference between this one and the 2012 is the color. The 2012 saves you more money.
philliesphan
Pros: This has to be the flat out best bat that I have ever had. Tremendous pop that has extremely similar structure to the red Omen. I am almost leading my little league in home runs, and I have the highest batting average. It is extremely well balanced, and has excellent durability. The price is great for the performance of this bat.
Cons: I have absolutley nothing bad to say about it.
Big Daddy
Pros: Bat has a lot of Pop out of the wrapper. Got the 32/22 for my 12 year old son and he hit (3) HRs in his first (3) games.
Cons: Bat Weight, this bat actually weighed 23.5 oz out of the wrapper.

Big Boy
Pros: I'm 9 years old and weigh 65 lbs. I hit 250 ft. home runs with this bat all the time!
Cons: Hits too far!
Jon Boy
Pros: Nice paint job. But paint doesn't do it.
Cons: Huge sweet spot allows hits off poor swings, allowing hitters to think they're making good swings when they're not. Good bat for poor hitters.
NickBaseball
Pros: I have had this bat for one day and I used it to warm up for my game this morning. That's all I've used it. On my first at bat I hit my first ever home run. I recommend this bat to almost anyone.
Cons: Some of my teammates tried to use it and it was a little heavy. Small kids might have issues.
Nicholson1000
Pros: this bat is awesome hit 11 homeruns with it this season
Cons: nothing
bat rater 2000
Pros: It's me again, I've hit with it more and just about hit 2 over. Which has excited me since at the beginning of last year I've only weighed 69 pounds and I was 11, almost 12 now.
Cons: A tad bit heavy and you don't want to use it under 60 degrees unless it's broken-in or it will crack.
Pridebaseballdad
Pros: Got my 11 year old a 30/20. The bat had pop right out of the wrapper. My kid had never hit a homerun and within 2 weeks of swinging it he hit one out. We've only had the bat for a little over 3 weeks but so far I have no complaints at all.
Cons: Seems to be end loaded and may be heavy for smaller kids.
Irvine blue
Pros: Awesome pop. As good as the Omen LNC2XL

Batman221
Pros: Ball simply pops of the bat! Sick. My son is hitting bombs with it! Even half swings pop to the outfield.
Cons: Little on the heavier side by forcing him to load and drop his foot quicker which is good, like wood. Can hit under the ball sometimes.
Anonymous
Pros: The bat really does have incredible pop. 3 HR's and 2 doubles the first 4 games in use.
Cons: None yet.
awsemeness
Pros: This is amazing big sweet spot, awesome grip, and great pop. If you want a bat I would buy a 30" 20 oz. You'll be hitting them out in no time. My son hit 12 out in 3 weeks the bat is like magic it's so good!

Cons:
George
Pros: Bat gives the ball a really good pop. I like the huge sweet spot.
Cons: Attention: A 29" -10 does not equal 19oz., it is more like 21oz to 23oz. I have contacted Easton and they said "They have several different manufacturers that make the bats for them and it depends on who made the bat as to how much it my weigh". Make sure you take scales with you to buy.
Cheddar
Pros: The bat is perfect size and big sweet spot
Cons: it costs $240

Pros: best bat ever

Pros: This bat is amazing. We took this bat from the wrapper to the practice field. We hit the ball 3 times, two hit the center field fence in air. The bat is not even broken in. I can not wait to see this bat's performance mid summer.
Cons: None except a little pricey for a working man.
Jim
Pros: Right out of the box, my 10 yr old is hitting balls to the fence. All the parents are calling it the miracle bat. Most of the team is using it now.

Pros: My son is a small 11 year old. He has never had the power to hit the ball outfield, but after I got the Easton XL1 he has hit extremely well with it. He has hit two or three in the outfield in the air. So proud that I spent the money and bought a great bat. I recommend this bat to anyone.
Cons:
Wrigleyn8
Pros: Never felt the need to leave a review for something until my 10 year old son got this bat. BEST BAT HE HAS EVER HAD. In two weeks he has hit 5 HRs with it. Huge sweet spot. Using this instead of a big barrel in tournaments now.
Cons: Didn't buy it sooner.
Anonymous
Pros: Larger sweet spot than Techzilla 2007. Not sure if it was the placebo effect of having a new bat but my son crushed his first AB with it while being behind 0-2. Line drive off the CF fence. By far the farthest and strongest hit he has ever smacked. He is 11 years old.
Cons: Price.
franny
Pros: i have the the silver xl1 and it has GREAT pop i hit a triple a double and after that the pitcher intentialy walked me

Liam #13
Pros: I reviewed this bat about a month ago, and it seriously is a very scrappy and great quality bat. Once you get about 2000 hits off it, it gets really great. The past week I hit several 230ft shots with it. A kid on my travel team (A twelve year old) Hit a 280ft shot with it! Bottom line, definetly worth the money.
Cons: Gets a little stingy when cold, but other than that, no cons.
The boss
Pros: It's awesome.
Cons: It has great pop but is not as good as the Omen.
Seanie
Pros: I bought my 8 year old son the S1 bat in December. He loved it but the more I saw him hit with it the more I knew he needed thr XL1. He was hitting the ball well into the outfield and in his second game of the season he hit a grand slam. He loves this bat. Parents of others on his team have seen what this bat can do and have purchased one for their kids. Awesome!
Cons: None.
GoingYRD
Pros: This bat is AMAZING!! It is really good bat with great pop and it looks very SEXY with the yellow!!!!

Pros: Son hit 8 homeruns in All-Stars with Silver XLI, then broke. This replacement bat is good, but not quite up to previous model. Still rate as worth the money!
Cons: Has some sting in beginning.
D Rake
Pros: This bat has amazing pop. Hit the ball a long ways with it. I'm 11 years old and hit 10 balls over the fence.
Cons: Had to replace the bat after only a month because it cracked really bad.
PA DAD
Pros: Ball seems to come off the bat really well. Lighter than you think. My 11 yr old loves the feel and bat speed he creates. Have to wait for weather to break before we can judge the pop.

Pros: I like the color & pop it has so much power and the sweet spot is much larger than most bats. JustBats, thank you for my prompt order process.
Cons: I'll get back on the cons, none at this time.
Liam #13
Pros: Amazing bat, great pop and stunning appearance. I am 12, 5 foot and 80 lbs, my last bat was the 2013 30/19 CF5, it was a good bat, but this bat beats it. First time hitting with it, I jacked one off the fence. I would definetly recommend this bat to anyone who likes to rip the ball hard.
Cons: None yet.
cash
Pros: Very light, very thick, and very balanced. Has a huge sweet spot and my son loves it.
Cons: Need to have more color choices. My son really doesn't like yellow. Can you custom, make me a solid black one with white lettering? Let me know.
Mr.Baseball
Pros: Bat has great pop. One of the best out there. Very pleased. If you want a bat to lead you to succeed, the Easton 2013 XL1 is the bat for you.
Cons: Best to get this in the offseason as the composite needs to be broken in for peak performance of this bat.
bat rater 2000

Pros: Best bat out there PERIOD!! Slightly end loaded, ball just jumps off the barrel. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!
Cons: Wish they made a -5 in this bat
Gunnar1284
Pros: Update. I am still leaving it with 4 starts. I am sure it will change to 5 though. Since the last report . My son and I have hit roughly 600 ball off the tee. He has hit the majority of them. You can hear a differnece in sound of the bat when the ball comes off the barrel. Not that thud sound from the begining. I have real high hopes for this bat. I hit the bat this past weekend n the cage. The balls were coming of the bat uite impressive. There is sill alot more in this bat. We hope to hit another 300-400 hits this week. I will report back next week.
Cons: None at this point
jorD
Pros: This bat has great pop and it does not sting your hands.
Cons: None
SSCESS
Pros: Simply the best bat on the market. Have tried the CF5, Voodoo, and Attack bats. This one is it. Ball pops off it like no other.
Cons: Maybe heavy for a youth that does not handle some weight well.
pbll allstar
Pros: Amazing bat!
Cons: None.
Gunnar1284
Pros: I gave XL1 bat 4 stars right out of the wrapper. Out of the wrapper the XL1 is very stiff. You can hear it when you make contact with the ball. We hit roughly 100 balls last night with no change. But with all Easton composite bats you need to get upwards of 500-1000 hits before they really open up. The sounds of the ball coming off the bat will change. It will go froma thud to gun shot sound. I will review this bat again here in the next few weeks and report on the performance.
Cons: None at this point
Cheese
Pros: This is the best bat EVER!!!!!!! Really good sound and feel and MASSIVE sweet spot!!!!!! I love the pop and graphics too! This bat is amazing!!! Get it.

Pros: The bat performed wonderfully right out of the box. My 85 lb. 9 year old was hitting line drives into the outfield quite easily even when he didn't "barrel" the ball. Can't wait to see what happens when he really nails one!

Just bought the COMbat Reloaded 29" 17 oz. for my son and he does not love it. It's a good bat but he was trying his teammates Easton and loves it. He is 5'3" and 74 lbs. He is in Rookies division and has been hitting off a pitching machine set at 38 mph. They will be switching to live pitching in 4 games and I'm not sure how fast these kids will be throwing. My son is 55" tall about 90 lbs. He previously used the XL3 30" 19 oz., but I was thinking if I got him the XL1 29" 19 oz. that he could still have power and this will let him control the end of the bat a little better. Am I correct in this? Stace
My son just got this bat. Taking it to a commercial batting cage voids the warranty. What would be an equivalent wood bat that he could take to the cage so he can get some practice swinging this weight? He has a 31" Finn
I'm confused and I have a few questions. My son is 10 years old, 85 pounds, and he does have a pretty quick bat. He takes a lot of batting practice and does face pitchers that throw pretty hard. His BP takes place mostly in an indoor batting cage where it is above 60 degrees with real leather wrapped baseballs. He has dented the S3 three times in the last 4 months. Obviously, the S3 is not working out, but I read that the XL1 may be more likely to break in the colder weather if we play in the fall. Because the S3 is damaged, he is using a cheaper Easton bat from a couple of years ago, and it seems more durable than the newer more expensive ones. Why? Which model do you recommend as far as performance and durability? Also, is there a cheaper bat you recommend for batting practice that has the same weight distribution so he doesn't damage the game bat that you are going to recommend? Jeff
