The latest and greatest members of the Big Barrel Power Brigade are here and ready to be unleashed.
The Easton XL3 is a perfect example of how Easton constantly pushes the boundaries of technology and sets the standard for high performance baseball bats. Swiftness, durability, and truly advanced innovations are all a part of every XL3 that Easton produces. They strive to give players of all ages a significant and measurable performance advantage during every at bat. It all starts with the extra-long, monster barrel design. Composed of Easton's HMX (Hyperlite Matrix) alloy, the XL3's barrel offers an expanded sweet spot and exceptional durability. The traditional one-piece alloy design ensures that all energy is transferred directly into the ball on contact and nowhere else. What sets the XL3 apart from other traditional one-piece designs is the fact that this model features an end loaded swing weight for more mass behind each swing. This gives each player the opportunity to swing for the fences. Wrapping the features up is the fact that each XL3 comes with Easton's HYPERSKIN grip for supreme control and enhanced comfort. Great bat Tony Santiago parent
Pros: My son loves his new bat.
Cons: none
Great bat NikoMaxim player
Pros: Today a local training facility had a Easton bat demo day, in which you could try all the new 2017 bats from Easton. My favorite bat that I tried was the XL3. Honestly, I tried the new 2017 Mako Beast XL, and I thought it had decent pop, but it felt like it had a heavier MOI (Moment of Inertia), or swing weight than the BBCOR version of the Mako Beast XL, and the Xl3. I also believe the 2016 model has equal or better performance than new Beast XL. The Xl3 is the superior bat this year because I feel like it has a much lower swing weight than Beast XL, even though they are both labeled as a top heavy bats. I also believe I can get my hand threw the zone much quicker because of that lower swing weight, and I believe both bats have great bats have great pop, but in my opinion if you hit the ball right, the XL3 has a much better feel on contact.
Cons: None yet on this astounding bat.
