Best bat I have swung Rob player
Pros: I have swung Juggys, Cluggys, Aftermaths, Resmondos, Freaks and Helmers (all ASA), and this is the best bat, at least for me. I am 65 and hitting 52s 300 feet (I am a bigger guy). Great distance, great pop, good feel. End load is not really noticeable over my Freak Maxload, and much lighter than my Helmer. For me this bat is almost ideal.
Cons: I have heard that these bats are a bit fragile. I hit nothing but 52s with it and only when it's 60+ degrees out. No damage or webbing with 200 hits on it. If I am being picky, I'd like a thicker grip, but that's easily fixed.
2017 Miken DC-41 Lane player
Pros: Pop - I'd give it six stars if I could. Hit home run in first swing out of the wrapper (no break in period). Price - at $250 this is a steal. I've paid $350+ for bats that don't perform nearly as well as this. If you need a bat... buy this one
Cons: None
breaks way too fast dissapointed player
Pros: Hot right out of the wrapper
Cons: broken by the fifth game also in the sweet spot.
cheap michigan asa player
Pros: great pop out of the wrapper
Cons: busted in the sweet spot after roughly 5 games.... little pricey for what you get
Great Miken 4 piece ASA bat Hammy player
Pros: Bought this bat on Monday and used it the same Friday, no BP just took a shot with it on game day. Great feel when you hit the sweet spot you know it by hearing/feeling it for sure. Miss hits don't feel too bad, but there is a slight vibration on the handle, less then other older Miken bats ( I have a MV-1, Freak 52, Rev EX, Freak DST.) Pop is great out of the wrapper, I saw more ball flight on a higher trajectory with no BP. Paint held up very well and cleans easy. The one oz. end load is not overbearing and I am a smaller guy. Only reason I gave pop a 4 was I only used it for two games, but I felt a noticeable positive difference in all other categories which is why they are 5 stars each.
Cons: Of course price, but you do get what you pay for. The Sound of the bat is not typical but not so far out there that you can't hear the difference in a good or bad hit.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
